Apple released a very important security fix for iPhones and iPads last week that you should install at your earliest convenience.
The update to iOS 9.3.5 patches some critical vulnerabilities in the security of the mobile operating system. Not updating means you could be putting your personal information — things like your texts, phone calls, emails and app data — at risk of being stolen.
If you’re not sure what version of iOS you’re running, go to your settings: Tap General; then tap Software Update. Your phone will let you know if you’re up to date or if you still need to download iOS 9.3.5.
