Google’s Calendar app is finally available for iPad.
If you’ve used the Google Calendar app on iPhone, the iPad-optimized version will have you feeling right at home. The only difference is you’ll have a lot more screen real estate to work with.
In its announcement, Google touted the fact that smart scheduling, a feature that suggests meeting times and open rooms for quicker scheduling, and goal setting are ready to go in the new iPad release. You can also search your schedule in Google Calendar using Apple’s Spotlight search.
Google noted that it’s working on some updates already, like a Today View Widget. That widget would let users view upcoming events in an iPad’s Notification Center and on the device’s lock screen.
