Felix Gray adds prescription option and sunglasses with blue light filter

Felix Gray, the maker of blue light filtering glasses, now makes a prescription version of its spectacles. Also, it’s making sunglasses… 😎

If you spend a lot of time working on a computer — like myself — you may be familiar with the certain digital eye strain issues like headaches, blurry vision and dry eyes.

I used to get terrible headaches each day after eight or more hours working in front of a screen. Then I started using Felix Gray’s glasses. (You can read that full review here) Now, my headaches are very few and far in between.

For those out there who were waiting patiently for Felix Gray to add an Rx option, your wait is over. After adding frames to your cart, you can now upload a file with your prescription or checkout without uploading a file and someone from Felix Gray will contact you to get your information.

A bonus: Felix Gray accepts FSA and HSA cards. The company says that you can also submit your Rx purchase for reimbursement through most vision insurance providers.

Now, let’s talk about these sunglasses …

Felix Gray sunglasses

Much like its glasses, the Felix Gray sunglasses have the company’s blue light filtering technology. On top of that, they also block 100% of UVA/UVB rays and they’re polarized. The backside of the sunglasses’ lenses has an AR (anti-reflective) coating which will prevent light from reflecting into your eyes.

If these new additions to the Felix Gray lineup are anything like the original glasses, there’s a really good chance you’re going to love them.
